IMU prices have been revised again. There were some problems with the June 2013 prices, especially for higher QA products, and the prices have been revised to be more reasonable for these higher QA products, and close to October 2012 prices for these products.

Prices have in every case increased from the June 2013 prices, with the most significant increases for products with QA over 100.

The methodology used to set prices is the same as was used in June 2013, but with some modest changes. Specifically, the price per land slot per day was the same at 75 million per day, and the interest rate used for value of factories and farms was 0.1% per day. The change was in the assumptions for the value of research, with the research value increased from 6000 per work hour to 10000 per work hour, which might not be the price you pay to buy research, but it includes some assumption that research might not be used forever and that research has to be worth more than it cost to hire it done or no one would bother investing in it. The number of factories leveraging research was also reduced from 10 to 8, so that the value of higher QA products in IMU price calculations has increased.

The net effect is to bring IMU prices more in line with increased value to retailers of higher QA, giving producers with high QA greater profits from their investment in achieving higher product quality. It is possible that for some QA levels, retailers might not pay the IMU prices, and it is almost certain to be true for lower QA products. Therefore, our prices are simply recommended prices which are based on what price you would need to get to earn a reasonable return that might justify upgrading your account with tickets (depending on the cost of tickets in the market, of course).

The new IMU prices can be easily downloaded and viewed in the following google docs spreadsheet:

The price for Bricks is not moving when you change the QA input. Was trying to calculate building kit tier prices using the individual IMU prices of the materials.

this was released before the building kit update was included, so it makes sense that bricks are only calculated at qa0.

Yes, it looks like IMU prices need to be revised again in August to reflect changes due to build kits.
