Headline today.

Feb 1 the cutover starts.

Feb 8 it finishes.

Since we had to change the interface anyway there is a whole new look to Factories and Farms which you will see on Wednesday. (We didn't get a chance to do other buildings but they might get a touchup now that there's a more consolidated theme.) And yes the are mobile-friendly unlike the prior version.

However, as I'm typing this, I realize that Extraction Tools are the only case where use goes up due to DMR. So I think given practical use, the quantity for Extraction Tools will be raised. (Thus lowering the decay listed.)

Has this been addressed already or is it included in the update?

Fragmented thoughts...

Is there still going to be a degradation penalty for over use as originally intended? I back tracked a few items from 'the top of the food chain' as at first glance the lower end input numbers seemed way low (any raw, farm goods, steel) and their respective ssc numbers seem to come out pretty close. Except if build kits were an end product for the item. I can't make the numbers add up, the inputs for them are a fraction of what those totals are and subsequently the inputs for those items.

I think it was already done but I'll try to verify tomorrow.

Amarsir had to add something so I have to do a new round of testing. Still hoping to be out later tonight.

Done at 11:56pm.

If anything goes wrong it will be Amarsir's job to fix it tomorrow. I have to update the Encyclopedia later this week but I think between the headline article and the help text on the Research page it should be fairly well explained.
