Since the system has been paying for higher amounts in building values, it is high time that the loans available via the system change. What a player can get right now is a pittance.

1) A player goes to finance market to check what he can borrow.
2) System calculates the entire value of the player. (Warehouse items+building values+researches+bonds held+anything else i forgot)
3) After calculating his total networth the system can offer him a certain percentage of his networth, maybe 40 or 45%.
4) The player decides whether he wants to borrow or no.

Terms and Conditions.

1) The products in warehouse, whatever high quality they maybe, their value is taken similar to a q0. So in system view, q200 oil and q0 oil are equal.
2) The player if he takes the loan, he has to sell his products for a value that is higher than the system determined value, which was calculated at the time of borrowing money. So, if the system calculated that q0 oil was worth; say 10bucks, then the player will have to sell it to anyone, or put it on the market with a minimum markup of say 20-25%.
3) The buildings are locked down during loan repayment period. You can't expand, you can't change focus, you can't change building type.
4) Premium players must be given a choice, of how much they want to borrow. Standard players don't get. Accordingly, premium players will be allowed to keep only a portion of their properties or products as a collateral. Standard players must given up their entire stuff.
5) On stockmarket page, the loans show up as liabilities if the player gets his company in public.

Failure to repay loan

1) In case a player fails to repay borrowed money, starting with his bonds, then products, then research, then properties, (or whatever is the minimum valuable thing) is confiscated. If one collateral is confiscated, he gets a certain time period until the second confiscation starts. In between if the player is able to keep making payments to the system, then the second confiscation doesn't occur.

That's pretty much *why* we fixed the value of buildings. You're just ahead of us. :)

Let's say some time between the stock market event and the market going live. We don't want increased leverage suddenly while big values are on the table.
