I'd like to make an appeal to the devs, please ban Ivan; his constant overloading with emoticans make everything run real slow

so please ban him, or make him stop.

personally I like him, but when he uses so many emoticons it messes up my computer and makes everything slow.

one other thing, there should be a limit on how many emoticons you can use in a post

I wouldn't agree to just make a decision to ban Ivan, but rather discuss to him about cutting usage or give him some sort of warning. Banning shouldn't even need to be done. Noncompliance and abuse should invoke disabling of emoticons on his posts, rather than dramatic action. I do agree, however, that there should be a limit. Using a wireless connection on my laptop (thats my case), dramatically reduces effectiveness of my connection, and too many images on screen (namely emoticons) just makes it take too long for pages to load sometimes.

Ty, ty. I was told NOTHING before I saw this post about cutting back on usage. Don't worry Milkco, I'm not annoyed at all. It perfectly fine, in fact, if you see any over usage, plz tell me.

If you really really want to do it, go make a thread in Off-Topic and state clearly in the title what the thread is for.

It is very spam-ish and I had to delete several posts yesterday because of that, so I would appreciate not doing that in regular conversations.

You know I haven't mentioned this in a while. But if you can think of - or better yet, find - some emoticons you want to use that we don't have offered here, let me know. Assuming I can find public use ones, I'd be happy to add them for you. The only catch is that you have to promise to use them 1 at a time.
